The Opt In/Out of CD Updates option on the Settings Submenu allows users to indicate whether or not they want to receive Instant Interest updates via CD or only use the Internet Update feature. Opting out of receiving quarterly updates via CD will also result in elimination of the Shipping Charge from new invoices issued for quarters starting from the 2nd quarter of 2016 or whenever the option is exercised, whichever is later. If you have a network installation, this request should be placed by the contact person for your company (the person who receives the update CDs). You should also be sure that you are able to apply updates from the Internet before opting out of receiving CDs.
