Settings Submenu

The Settings Submenu will be displayed if you press / or point at the Settings option on the main menu and press the left mouse key. The Settings Submenu looks like this:

The Settings Submenu is used to change basic user setup preferences. Settings Submenu options are:

Defaults	To change the values in the II.INI file which determine file locations and default values at startup time.
Colors	To change the background colors for the worksheet views
Printer Setup	To change the default Windows printer settings

Defaults

The Defaults option on the Settings Submenu is used to change the values in the II.INI file which determine:

• where the program, rate, and worksheet parameter files are located,
• the names of the rate file and the default parameter file,
• the default worksheet view displayed when Instant Interest starts, and
• the font to be used when printing interest schedules.

Colors

The Color option on the Settings Submenu is used to change the background colors for the worksheet views. See the Change Colors page for details.
